Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of developing and executing manual and automated tests for mobile applications on iOS or Android
- Experience with TCM and Defect Tracking tools such as BrowserStack, ADO, JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr
- Experience using mobile test automation platforms and frameworks (e.g., BrowserStack, Perfecto Mobile, Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)
- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket for managing test scripts
- Experience ensuring compatibility across multiple devices and operating system combinations
Responsibilities
- Build test plans to ensure the quality of features exposing technology in newest vehicles and mobile applications
- Build test suites, develop and execute manual and automated test cases
- Log, track and verify resolutions of requirements and software defects
- Hands-on integration testing with capabilities in the newest GM vehicles
- Collaborate with experienced test leads to assist in test strategy and process improvements
- Review test cases written by others and provide feedback/assistance
- Drive quality based on feedback loops on issue trends and issue triage
- Advance the state of the art of quality engineering practices
- Participate in the inception of new features, collaborating to review and influence business and software requirements
- Create and execute automated and manual tests, log defects, and report test metrics and test status to project teams
