Requirements

  • Availability to work one of the specified schedules (day or night shifts, 10-11 hour shifts, various days off)
  • Ability to work alongside production teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail for visual and physical inspections
  • Basic understanding of measurement equipment (scales, measuring spoons, cups, spatulas, pumps)
  • Willingness to reinforce training for production team leads and associates

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual inspections during labeling process for proper label placement, correct product/ingredient names per QA sheets (bottles, jars, bags)
  • Issue correct QC samples to production team leads/associates prior to portioning, using QA sheets for accurate portion amounts
  • Provide proper measuring equipment to production and reinforce training on its use
  • Confirm portioned amounts with production team leads before starting production and perform final verification/sign-off
  • Conduct hourly visual inspections of portioned ingredients for accuracy
  • Verify meal bag line setup using production sheets, ensure all ingredients are present and within shelf life
  • Confirm ingredient amounts with production team (especially multiples) and sign-off on production sheets
  • Conduct hourly visual/physical inspections of meal bags (including unpacking) to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain continuous watch over meal bagging line, help close bags, and perform random inspections for produce quality/quantities on shipping days
  • Verify shipping line setups (meat, meal bags, recipe cards, box call outs) using boxing call out sheets for all lines
