High school diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percent; draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
Good computer skills with knowledge in Microsoft Office
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Forklift experience preferred
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Good verbal communication skills
Regularly stand and walk; frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk/hear, and smell; occasionally sit, use hands to finger/handle/feel objects/tools/controls, reach with hands/arms; lift/move up to 25 pounds
Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
Responsibilities
Conduct inspections of all molded products running on each line in Molding Department
Conduct sampling and testing of compounds off each line in the Compounding Department
Document and maintain quality inspection findings for Molding and Compounding
Document any non-conformities and hold all affected products for further investigation
Conduct and manage all hold product investigations and dispositioning from your shift
Conduct and manage all computer records, inputs, and statuses of all quality activities
Institute complete JDE Inventory records of any hold or released product
Comply with company policy, procedures, and safety rules
Maintain constructive working relationships with co-workers, leads, supervisors, and managers
Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company policy
Perform other duties as assigned to the satisfaction of your supervisor and the shift supervisor
