Requirements

Ability to write and edit automated test code using the same standards as a Software Engineer
Proficiency in maintaining automation codebase in a version control system (e.g., GIT, SVN)
Skill in executing automated test scripts and evaluating results
Capability to analyze broken test cases, diagnose issues, and repair them
Experience in identifying viable test strategies to support product functionality testing
Ability to create automated testing documentation, such as Test Plans and Test Summary Reports
Exercise of independent judgment and discretion in significant matters
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; flexibility to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary
Understanding and adherence to Operating Principles, customer experience ownership, enthusiasm for technology/products, teamwork, participation in Net Promoter System, driving results, supporting inclusion, and doing what's right

Responsibilities

Write and edit automated test code for repeatable, reliable testing of product and software functionality in accordance with specifications and technical requirements
Maintain automation codebase in a version control system (GIT, SVN)
Execute automated test scripts and evaluate results
Analyze broken test cases and diagnose/repair them to working order
Assist in identifying viable test strategies to support testing product functionality
Create automated testing documentation, including Test Plans and Test Summary Reports
Validate product quality by analyzing and testing the code base
Develop and maintain code that validates front-end, middleware, and database systems using latest tools and programming languages
Partner with software engineers to write efficient automation code using coding standards and best practices
Work with engineering team to deliver automated tests that satisfy product automation requirements
Execute automated code and create written summary test reports for the team
Repair intermediate complexity broken automation scripts
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
