Position Overview

NIQ is seeking a Lead of Qualitative Project Management for its North America qualitative team. This permanent, remote role is at the forefront of understanding consumer behaviors, attitudes, and decisions. About the Role

We are looking for an expert in qualitative project execution within North America. Your primary focus will be to optimize the efficiency of our NA qualitative business through strategic supplier management, recruitment, and guidance on project management tasks across various qualitative methodologies.


Responsibilities

  • Project Execution: Ensure seamless execution of qualitative research projects, maintaining strong internal collaboration and client engagement through clear communication, strategic alignment, and responsive support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supplier Management: Work with procurement to optimize our supply base, fostering strong relationships with a select group of suppliers in North America.
  • Cost Optimization: Obtain competitive costs from suppliers and procure recruits and moderators separately, identifying optimal suppliers for different project types.
  • Methodology Guidance: Provide guidance on project management tasks for:
    • Online qualitative research
    • Face-to-face qualitative research
    • Face-to-face qualitative research with products
    • New AI platforms
    • Workshops (including venue selection and travel costing)
  • Internal Moderation Transition: Assist the business in transitioning from heavy reliance on external vendors to internal moderation capabilities, developing systems and processes to track team time commitment and availability.
  • Contract and Financial Management: Ensure the NA qual team utilizes appropriate contracts and paperwork with suppliers and manages internal financial systems correctly.
  • Privacy and Security: Collaborate with the NIQ SA&I Operations team to develop clear Privacy and Security Protocols (PII, GDPR, etc.), considering new AI-driven qualitative platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, social sciences, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management operations within a qualitative research business.
  • Deep understanding of qualitative approaches, including effective cost construction and project planning.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience managing tasks and projects with both internal colleagues and clients.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across functions, contributing to a team-oriented culture.

Compensation:

  • Market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $64,000 - $90,000. Actual salaries will vary based on candidate experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
  • This role may also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
