Requirements

Candidates must reside in Costa Rica and possess over 3 years of experience in testing, shipping, and supporting production-quality SaaS based web applications. Experience testing within an agile development process, utilizing automation test frameworks like Selenium or Robot, and coding in Python or a similar language are required. Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON), database concepts (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL), and experience mentoring team members are also necessary. Excellent communication, time management, analytical, problem-solving skills, and a passion for learning are essential.

Responsibilities

The Quality Engineer will collaborate with product management and business stakeholders to deliver SaaS solutions, creating high-quality software through effective communication. Responsibilities include proactively improving processes and product quality, developing technical solutions, and assisting the team in troubleshooting production and test environment issues. The role involves designing, developing, and executing end-to-end and API test cases, performing accessibility and security testing, integrating test scripts into CI/CD pipelines, and participating in scrum meetings. The engineer will also champion the development team's core values.
