Requirements

  • Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
  • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
  • Ability to work in Cold Room/Freezers (-22°F/-6°C), Office, and Warehouse environments
  • Some degree of PPE required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written form
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and follow up
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and planning/organization skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications, and ability to learn new computer systems quickly
  • Preferred proficiency in 21 CFR Parts 11, 210, 211, and 820, as well as ICH 7 and 8

Responsibilities

  • Work with operations staff to identify and resolve all issues that may result in a non-conformance or atypical event
  • Assist in training technicians in proper procedural and protocol adherence and data collection
  • Ensure facility compliance to cGMP requirements and FBS quality systems and SOPs
  • Collect, trend, and analyze Quality Control Data
  • Maintain the QC Work Logs
