Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related subject area
Minimum of 5 years of extensive analytical experience in a related environment
Excellent working knowledge of scientific principles
Experience operating and troubleshooting HPLC/UHPLC and ICP-MS/OES systems
Experience with method development and validation
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and interact effectively with all levels of the company
Ability to exercise independent decision-making and initiative

Responsibilities

Conduct finished goods and raw material sampling and testing in an ISO accredited laboratory, including Pharmacopeia testing, UHPLC, and ICPMS analysis
Serve as a subject matter expert in analytical finished goods release testing, ensuring timely and efficient performance per standard operating procedures
Lead and troubleshoot technical and instrumental queries across the analytical chemistry department
Proactively collaborate with Production, Technical, and Manufacturing teams to resolve quality-related issues from customer complaints and internal incidents, facilitating investigation and resolution
Identify and implement opportunities for improvement across the quality department and operational facility
Act as point of contact for Junior lab operators
Perform statistical analysis to review trends in data and implement improvements
Exercise latitude in determining technical objectives and solutions to complex problems
Strive to enhance efficiency in procedures and processes without compromising quality
Review and approve testing for new, existing, and future products from a quality perspective
Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned
