Master's degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field
Professional certifications are a plus
>5 years of experience working in a Quality Assurance role within an ISO9001 or GMP setting
Managerial experience is a plus
In-depth understanding of QA methodologies, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO9001, GMP)
Understanding of risk assessment and management practices
Ability to analyze quality data and metrics to drive continuous improvement
Strong leadership skills to manage and mentor QA team members
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to interpret and analyze complex data and make informed decisions
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and supervise a team; direct day-to-day activities
Set team goals, mentor, and motivate others
Ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
Be a pro-active partner for Operations, Quality Control, Engineering, and Supply Chain
Participate in cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues
Assess and decide on quality-related matters reported by critical suppliers
Foster a positive and customer-focused culture
Investigate and resolve quality-related questions and complaints issued by customers
Track and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in quality assurance
Prioritize achieving individual and team goals
Manage workloads effectively, distribute resources, and foster an inclusive environment and team culture
Maintain Quality Management System of the site, quality aspects of products, release of affinity resins, and quality oversight over contract manufacturers
Create and revise Regulatory Support Files
Handle customer queries concerning quality aspects of affinity resins
