Requirements

  • Master's degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Professional certifications are a plus
  • >5 years of experience working in a Quality Assurance role within an ISO9001 or GMP setting
  • Managerial experience is a plus
  • In-depth understanding of QA methodologies, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO9001, GMP)
  • Understanding of risk assessment and management practices
  • Ability to analyze quality data and metrics to drive continuous improvement
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and mentor QA team members
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and analyze complex data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team; direct day-to-day activities
  • Set team goals, mentor, and motivate others
  • Ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
  • Be a pro-active partner for Operations, Quality Control, Engineering, and Supply Chain
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues
  • Assess and decide on quality-related matters reported by critical suppliers
  • Foster a positive and customer-focused culture
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related questions and complaints issued by customers
  • Track and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in quality assurance
  • Prioritize achieving individual and team goals
  • Manage workloads effectively, distribute resources, and foster an inclusive environment and team culture
  • Maintain Quality Management System of the site, quality aspects of products, release of affinity resins, and quality oversight over contract manufacturers
  • Create and revise Regulatory Support Files
  • Handle customer queries concerning quality aspects of affinity resins
