Candidates should have over 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer in Mobile Games, demonstrating ownership and successful project completion. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to take up tasks from start to finish with little assistance, and the capability to identify and address issues independently are essential. A passion for mobile games, insight into the player's perspective, proven experience using various testing tools and methodologies, clear communication skills, basic familiarity with SQL, and the ability to read logs are required. Fluent English is also necessary. Familiarity with Free-to-Play (F2P) games, game design principles, and release management experience are a plus.
The QA Engineer will lead the approach to maintaining game health and ensuring games are free of defects. This includes conducting comprehensive testing of mobile games to identify and document defects, taking ownership of the QA process, and assisting in creating processes and tools to improve overall game quality. The role involves following technical KPIs of live games, proposing strategies for improvement, coordinating with design and development teams, and providing feedback. Responsibilities also include prioritizing and executing testing tasks at different development stages, fostering an open feedback culture, regularly reviewing relevant KPIs, working with central tech teams on quality-related initiatives, investigating production issues, and conducting cross-platform manual testing on Android and iOS.
