You will be joining one of our Live Studios, contributing to games such as Uboat Attack, Infantry Attack, Sniper Siege, and Walkers Attack.


Role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Voodoo, you will be instrumental in defining and leading our approach to maintaining game health and ensuring defect-free experiences. Working collaboratively with the team, you will be responsible for testing games and minimizing defects.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive testing of mobile games to identify and document critical defects, taking ownership of the entire QA process to assure quality and user experience.
  • Assist in creating processes and tools to improve the overall quality of the game.
  • Monitor and analyze the technical KPIs of our live games, proposing strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate closely with design and development teams, gaining a deep understanding of game mechanics and providing essential feedback for product refinement.
  • Prioritize and execute testing tasks efficiently across different development stages, aligning with project timelines and objectives, and independently addressing and resolving identified issues.
  • Foster an open feedback culture, actively participating in constructive dialogue with team members to promote collaboration and innovation.
  • Regularly review relevant KPIs to ensure the project's health, encompassing both audience perception and performance-related quality.
  • Collaborate with central tech teams on quality-related initiatives.
  • Investigate production issues.
  • Conduct cross-platform manual testing on Android and iOS.
  • Utilize in-house and external testing tools.

Profile

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in Mobile Games, demonstrating ownership and successful project completion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage tasks from start to finish with minimal assistance and identify and address issues independently and effectively.
  • A reliable, self-starting attitude combined with a team-player mentality, capable of taking responsibility and contributing positively to team dynamics.
  • A passion for mobile games, with an understanding of the player's perspective and expectations.
  • Proven experience using various testing tools and methodologies for mobile games.
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Basic familiarity with SQL.
  • Ability to read logs and identify critical information.
  • Experience writing and working with test case documentation.
  • Fluent English (speaking and writing).
