Requirements

5+ years of experience in QA or SDET role, with a focus on API testing and quality assurance
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and API testing principles
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, Pytest)
Proficiency in a modern programming language (e.g., Golang, Python, JavaScript)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Github actions)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for identifying and resolving complex issues

Responsibilities

Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for APIs, including functional, load, and performance testing
Create and maintain test automation suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks, focusing on REST APIs and microservices
Collaborate with development teams to review API designs and ensure testability and quality
Develop and maintain API load testing suites to ensure APIs can handle high traffic and stress conditions
Help design and implement CI/CD pipelines, integrating quality gates and automated testing throughout the pipeline
Participate in resiliency and chaos testing of the system, identifying potential failure points and working with the team to improve overall system reliability
Analyze and debug complex issues found in testing or production environments, working closely with development teams to resolve issues
