Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for APIs, including functional, load, and performance testing
  • Create and maintain test automation suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks, focusing on REST APIs and microservices
  • Collaborate with development teams to review API designs and ensure testability and quality
  • Develop and maintain API load testing suites to ensure APIs can handle high traffic and stress conditions
  • Help design and implement CI/CD pipelines, integrating quality gates and automated testing throughout the pipeline
  • Participate in resiliency and chaos testing of the system, identifying potential failure points and working with the team to improve overall system reliability
  • Analyze and debug complex issues found in testing or production environments, working closely with development teams to resolve issues
