Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
2-3 years in Software Quality Assurance, with strong focus on testing web applications
Proven experience in building and maintaining automated tests for web applications and/or APIs (preferably Playwright for web automation)
Hands-on experience in manual testing of REST and/or GraphQL APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Locust
Good programming skills in at least one language, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software development lifecycle concepts, including code review practices, code coverage analysis, continuous testing, and delivery
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), test management tools (e.g., TestRail), and issue-tracking platforms (e.g., Jira)
Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL (plus)
Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS) and experience with application deployments (plus)
Experience in creating comprehensive test plans, authoring test cases, executing tests, and adhering to QA best practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work independently within Agile development teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Responsibilities

Review functional specifications, technical design documents, and provide meaningful feedback
Work closely with the development team to identify test cases that can be automated for new feature releases
Design, develop, and execute test cases against product features and backend systems
Maintain automation framework (Playwright/Locust) to ensure infrastructure is reliable, resilient, and extensible
Contribute to development team on best practices, processes, and problem-solving
Develop automated test result reports and highlight any potential quality risks
Identify, troubleshoot, and track bugs to resolution
Be an advocate for automation: contribute to manual efforts and partner with engineering team leads to provide recommendations on decreasing manual testing efforts
