Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of prior law enforcement and/or military experience (preferred)
  • Previous experience working in a similar environment such as casino, convention centers, event and concert venues (preferred)
  • Willing to work part-time evening schedule, 2-3 days per week, 5:30pm-9:45pm or 10pm as needed

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive, welcoming demeanor while delivering superior customer service to clients, visitors, and attendees
  • Respond to questions and requests from guests by providing accurate information and directions in a courteous manner
  • Conduct patrols or staff assigned posts as directed by public safety management
  • Stay knowledgeable about public safety posts, operating procedures, and emergency protocols; execute these as required
  • Assist with event security and provide a visible deterrent to crime and potential violence
  • Respond to emergencies, rendering aid and following established safety policies
  • Maintain situational awareness, reporting suspicious activity and potential threats immediately
  • Manage assigned equipment (radios, uniforms) and report any lost or damaged items
  • Document and report all incidents, accidents, and medical emergencies promptly
  • Respond to alarm activations, including security and fire alarms, and utilize the facility’s surveillance and access control systems
