Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Technology or related technical discipline OR High School Diploma or GED with 2-5+ years of experience in Electronics Test Technician role
  • Familiarity with test equipment (e.g., DMM, ARB, Power Supply, oscilloscopes, generators, etc.) - preferred
  • Strong professional and technical competence
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Responsible and capable of self-direction
  • Strong leadership skills to drive self and organization to improve performance
  • Team player with high level of maturity
  • Willing to accept challenges and customer focused

Responsibilities

  • EMC validation test operation/execution
  • Full life cycle product test ownership
  • Ensuring accurate test reporting
  • Communication to EMC Test Engineering for approval/notification
  • Direct interaction with product engineers to ensure compliance
  • Maintaining open line of communication with validation engineering to ensure product performance
  • Maintaining a clean/safe work environment/area
  • Testing products from multiple product lines before they go to market
  • Accurate test set-up, data collection, and data reporting per test plan
  • Information sharing in multi-shift environment for accurate and timely project completion
