Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible (within 3 years of completing residency) in Adult or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
  • Valid medical license in Massachusetts (or willing to obtain prior to start date)

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality mental health care to child or adult patients, focusing on patient care
  • Work in-person or hybrid models, setting own scheduled hours and appointment lengths
  • Build a caseload aligned with interests and areas of expertise using the Care Matching model
  • Integrate psychotherapy into everyday practice (preferred)
  • Collaborate with experienced therapists, neuropsychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners
  • Participate in lifelong learning activities, such as Grand Rounds, weekly consult hours, CME, and training in innovative therapies like TMS
  • Supervise newly graduated PMHNPs (optional, compensated opportunity)
