Proposals Pricing Analyst

Position Overview

SmithRx is seeking a Proposals Pricing Analyst to join our team and contribute to our growth by participating in the presales process. This role involves conducting claims analysis and creating compelling deliverables to showcase the SmithRx value proposition to prospective clients, consultants, and benefit brokers. The Proposals Pricing Analyst will collaborate with internal teams, including sales, analytics, and clinical departments, to provide valuable savings insights for current and potential clients.

Eligibility: Applicants must reside in one of the following states: Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

  • Independently query necessary data from large datasets and generate ad hoc analysis with clear insights.
  • Leverage historical claims data to provide reprice reporting for assessment and risk management.
  • Assist in preparing client-ready deliverables for the sales team that illustrate the company’s value.
  • Ensure high-quality, client-ready deliverables through an audit/evaluation process and personal accountability.
  • Execute deep-dive analyses and investigations into large datasets, providing clear insights on findings.
  • Clearly communicate with internal stakeholders and external partners via email, Slack, phone, and video calls.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to illustrate the potential impact of implementing SmithRx as a pharmacy benefit solution.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional experience.
  • Experience in software, employee benefits, or healthcare industries is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data and develop key insights.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SQL, Looker, and Tableau.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate constructively and positively with teammates and partners, even in a fast-paced business environment.
