Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Typically 3 to 5 years’ experience in Electrical, Control and Automation projects, including designing, consulting, implementing and commissioning
Ability and willingness to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial plants
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent conflict resolution skills

Responsibilities

Design, implement, test and commission control system projects by performing engineering application and programming specifications
Provide updates to project manager and Engineering Team Leader on status of activities and KPIs
Develop technical standards and procedures within the project context
Grow and develop into a thought leader within the organization
Contribute to project review process and provide technical guidance on project related matters
Work on project cost estimates and proposals as required
Serve as the primary interface with the customer for assigned projects
Support an environment conducive to successful team interaction
Work well under pressure
Lead a team comprising engineering staff of various levels, including contract staff and 3rd party vendors, depending on project complexity
Coach and mentor junior engineers
Work with project manager to lead technical execution for complex projects
Meet project schedule, engineering hour budgets, and customer satisfaction targets
Build partnerships at a technical level with key customers
Be commercially aware of the business impact of selecting and delivering project design and deliverables
Present and develop technical aspects of sales proposals to customers
Follow all applicable corporate, company, governmental and regulatory policies and procedures
Ensure compliance to Ethics, Standards of Business Conduct, Safety, Information Technology and other RA policies and relevant government regulations
Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by immediate Manager
