Requirements

Bachelor's degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, structural engineering, or a related engineering field
5+ years post graduate experience ideally working on large projects

Responsibilities

Ensure all quality and environmental aspects of the project are addressed to maintain effective operation and project delivery
Monitor and control subcontractors’ performance and ensure the quality and standard of workmanship is in accordance with the specifications
Ensure that project team completes all outstanding defects as a matter of priority
Ensure implementation of project quality plan
Supervise and coordinate resource allocation with the expectation that you would encourage effective teamwork and foster a positive attitude toward the achievement of organisational objectives
Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems
Prepare project status reports and change orders
Manage and maintain effective liaison and communication with all levels of internal and external shareholders on all matters relating to the construction activities
Participate in Client/contractor meetings and resolving Client/engineering and project management issues
Lead, motivate, and mentor site personnel to foster positive team dynamics, staff moral and work outcomes
Work closely and ensure Site Engineers are supported and perform as required
Interact with both on-site personnel and other parties to create a positive work environment
