Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience
  • Firm grasp of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word) and basic to advanced computer skills
  • Demonstrated record of excellent performance in meeting high standards of quality, quantity, leadership, and dependability (attendance and punctuality)
  • Well organized with good record-keeping skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve while prioritizing tasks in a fast-moving environment
  • Prior experience providing supervision or mentorship to lower level production staff
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player
  • Experienced in training and onboarding
  • Ability to provide process improvement recommendations to supervisors
  • People leadership within a medical manufacturing environment
  • Comfortable leading standup meetings with team members and speaking to escalations in Tier meetings
  • Ability to meet physical job requirements, including being independently mobile, interacting with a computer, and communicating with peers and co-workers

Responsibilities

  • Leads production team work process, equipment testing, manufacturing, disassembly, and reassembly as assigned by supervisor
  • Prioritizes use of operators according to build schedule
  • Communicates process issues and provides status updates to team supervisor
  • Coaches operators/assemblers on production and problem-solving skills, performing technical review and machinery setup/breakdown as needed
  • Ensures Medtronic company quality and safety standards are upheld
  • Other duties as assigned
