- 5+ years development experience in the payments industry
- Deep understanding of single message and dual message payments flows
- Familiarity with the top card schemes and their interfaces
- Ability to think of solutions for high volume systems that parse and ingest huge files within minutes timeframe
- Love coaching others and spending time helping them grow their payments knowledge
- Ability to deliver feedback using clean and emotionally safe language
- Growth mind-set while exemplifying and promoting agile values and principles
- Ability to think, analyse, and think quickly
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
- Experience in delivering software development through an agile delivery model, preferably SAFe and Scrum

- Create detailed business requirements and translate them into user stories
- Pair with the Scrum Master to maintain a sorted backlog that reflects stakeholders’ priorities
- Build written payments knowledge base that others can use to learn and grow their skills
- Work with other teams to design end-to-end payments solutions across retail, hospitality, and core payments
