Requirements

  • Hybrid technical product manager and analyst skills
  • Ability to facilitate end-to-end product intake process (from request through approval and build handoff)
  • Expertise in maintaining product taxonomy/classifications and PIM catalog quality standards
  • Experience aligning account codes and revenue recognition rules with Finance/Accounting
  • Capability to facilitate dispatch of new account codes, shutdown of legacy codes, and ensure resorts use appropriate account codes
  • Knowledge to provide guidance to resorts on product categorizations
  • Ability to coordinate with Data Engineering on reporting attributes, hierarchies, sales/revenue reporting, and Power BI datasets/models aligned with PIM taxonomy and account codes
  • Serve as go-to contact for business units on product placement, naming, and catalog questions
  • Skills to establish lightweight controls and audit routines to prevent downstream rework
  • Proficiency in driving lightweight automation (SQL queries and scripts) for product build in mountain systems POS to reduce manual effort and improve data quality

Responsibilities

  • Operate the product intake queue; triage, validate, and route requests to the right approvers
  • Apply taxonomy rules; recommend product placement and naming that reduce catalog sprawl
  • Work with stakeholders to define required attributes for each product
