Requirements

  • Ability to provide strategic, commercial, and technical oversight across a Global Payment Processing Platform with a focus on the US
  • Experience working closely with architects, engineers, developers, and internal teams to set and drive product roadmaps, outcomes, and platform evolution
  • Knowledge of guiding Embedded Payments product strategy, particularly for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and SaaS/technology providers
  • Capability to become a subject matter expert on Global Billing and Settlement platform functions, including Core Payment Processing, qualification, clearing, billing, settlement, reconciliation, and card network compliance
  • Experience leading scrum teams through the Product Development Lifecycle with a continuous improvement approach
  • Skills in stakeholder management, bridging technical and business worlds, and evangelizing product strategy

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of product strategy and roadmap for Xplor’s Global Payment Platform
  • Regularly review and update the product strategy to reflect changes in company strategy, market changes, and lessons from customers/initiatives
  • Work with US teams to ensure understanding of product strategy, address challenges, and establish clear communications/release plans for product launches
  • Define and communicate the product roadmap and prioritization to support customer acquisition, retention, and conversion, focused on the US
  • Ensure roadmaps are data-informed, based on market needs, with clear outcomes, success criteria, and balance of functional/non-functional work
  • Work with customers and consumers during discovery to understand problems
  • Lead scrum teams through all elements of the Product Development Lifecycle
  • Lead discovery of problems and support scope definition of solutions, ensuring teams have requirements for high-level designs and understand constraints
  • Become a recognized subject matter expert on Global Billing and Settlement platform functions
  • Work within global payments product team to create KPI metrics framework for product evolution success
  • Be accountable for the commercial success of product capabilities
  • Contribute to improving Xplor’s product leadership capability
  • Bridge technical and business worlds, lead relationships with stakeholders to understand/deliver market needs, and evangelize product strategy/roadmap
  • Work with strategy, commercial, and data teams to drive user/competitive research for customer needs and new product value propositions aligned with Xplor Pay’s vision and goals
  • Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
