Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Geosciences, Data Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of lease analysts or engineering tech, data management, or relevant oil & gas experience
  • Strong understanding of non-operated working interest/joint venture processes
  • Proven track record of managing complex data products or platforms
  • Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn product management skills
  • Knowledge of upstream oil & gas operations and commercial workflows
  • Strong data analysis, data governance skills

Responsibilities

  • Define the strategy and roadmap for non-operated data products and platforms
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Oversee ingestion, validation, and standardization of partner data (production, costs, division orders, check stubs, operations reports, etc.)
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility across systems
  • Establish and enforce best practices for metadata, taxonomies, and governance
  • Partner with operations, finance, and subsurface teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable product features
  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to implement workflows and integrations
  • Champion data-driven decision-making by enabling analytics and visualization capabilities
