Requirements
Candidates must have experience in Product Management, go-to-market propositions, product design, product planning, and development. A minimum of 2 years of formal people management experience is required. Candidates should have experience considering both user requirements and commercial strategy to drive meaningful product growth, and experience taking products from ideation to delivery, ideally at a global scale. The ability to manage difficult tradeoffs between long-term product vision and short-term growth requirements is essential. Candidates must thrive in data-driven, cross-functional teams and possess exceptional communication skills to convey product strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, and experience in hyper-growth startup environments, software engineering, or financial technology is a plus.
Responsibilities
The Product Lead will define Airwallex’s products, from strategy and solution design to roadmap and delivery plans. They will collaborate closely with engineering, design, and commercial teams to ensure the product can handle increased user adoption, usage, and complexity while maintaining its core value proposition. The Product Lead will inform product strategy by understanding user requirements, target markets, and the competitive landscape. They will iterate quickly on new product launches, feature enhancements, and user feedback, and manage a high-performing team of Product Managers.
