Requirements

Currently enrolled in a 4-year graduate program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field
Taken classes in mechanical and electrical engineering
Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages
Experience with a CAD program such as ProE/Creo (preferred)
Strong analytical capabilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to demonstrate perseverance
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting with individuals across different geographies

Responsibilities

Design and set up test procedures and required hardware
Specify and procure parts for test set-ups and test fixtures
Work in a team setting collaborating with engineers and interns from fields such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, optical engineering, and computer science
Develop test specifications
Create engineering documentation
Perform basic analytical modeling
Assemble test set-ups
Perform tests per defined test plan in a laboratory environment
Work self-motivated on a specific aspect of a larger project contributing to the development of sub-components for KLA’s inspection tools
