Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of Systems Engineering principles with strong experience developing complex systems in the semiconductor industry
  • Outstanding skills in optical systems, opto-mechanics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering
  • Strong command of general physics, math, and computational skills
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in optics, precision mechanics, image processing, and motion control systems
  • Experience in data processing, analytics, and statistics

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop system architectures and characterize system performance according to requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and validate metrology systems, including hardware, software, and control systems
  • Define and document system specifications to meet project requirements
  • Perform detailed systems analysis to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to qualify systems
  • Provide ongoing engineering support to ensure field systems adaptation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction
  • Work with Product & Program Managers to ensure project milestones are met on time
