Requirements

In-depth understanding of Systems Engineering principles with strong experience developing complex systems in the semiconductor industry
Outstanding skills in optical systems, opto-mechanics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering
Strong command of general physics, math, and computational skills
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in optics, precision mechanics, image processing, and motion control systems
Experience in data processing, analytics, and statistics

Responsibilities

Design and develop system architectures and characterize system performance according to requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and validate metrology systems, including hardware, software, and control systems
Define and document system specifications to meet project requirements
Perform detailed systems analysis to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to qualify systems
Provide ongoing engineering support to ensure field systems adaptation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction
Work with Product & Program Managers to ensure project milestones are met on time
