Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering member questions
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Receive and stock merchandise in an organized manner
- Maintain inventory to avoid out-of-stock and over-stock products
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources
- Develop interpersonal skills for customer service and be flexible to business needs
- Understand processes and specifications for produce quality (e.g., taste, preparation, seasonality)
- Prepare products (trim, crisp, package, scale) according to standards
- Maintain product safety and follow sanitation guidelines
- Adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies on produce quality
- Leverage digital tools for sales, shopping experience, and associate engagement
- Use handheld technology for business decisions on production, training, and quality
- Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them
- Drive area performance using digital tools and perpetual inventory management
- Stock and rotate products, ensure quality and date control, eliminate waste
- Guide peers and assist customers per company policies
- Advocate for the department by valuing member experience and modeling high-quality service
- Execute basics at the highest level of quality with energy and commitment
- Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards
- Use Open Door Policy and apply in business processes
