Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering member questions
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
  • Receive and stock merchandise in an organized manner
  • Maintain inventory to avoid out-of-stock and over-stock products
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources
  • Develop interpersonal skills for customer service and be flexible to business needs
  • Understand processes and specifications for produce quality (e.g., taste, preparation, seasonality)
  • Prepare products (trim, crisp, package, scale) according to standards
  • Maintain product safety and follow sanitation guidelines
  • Adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies on produce quality
  • Leverage digital tools for sales, shopping experience, and associate engagement
  • Use handheld technology for business decisions on production, training, and quality
  • Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them
  • Drive area performance using digital tools and perpetual inventory management
  • Stock and rotate products, ensure quality and date control, eliminate waste
  • Guide peers and assist customers per company policies
