Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment in a high-volume production environment
  • Mechanical inclination – likes to fix things, use tools, work with hands
  • Strong problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Knowledge of extrusion or blow molding machines and equipment (preferred)
  • Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electromechanical systems (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Operating extrusion and blow-molding manufacturing production machines and equipment
  • Monitoring and adjusting production machine settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure) to keep production running smoothly
  • Troubleshooting machines and performing basic maintenance
  • Checking product quality to ensure it meets customer specifications (e.g., bottle weights, dimensions)
  • Teaming up with co-workers to identify continuous improvement opportunities
