Requirements

At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment in a high-volume production environment
Mechanical inclination – likes to fix things, use tools, work with hands
Strong problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
Knowledge of extrusion or blow molding machines and equipment (preferred)
Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electromechanical systems (preferred)

Responsibilities

Operating extrusion and blow-molding manufacturing production machines and equipment
Monitoring and adjusting production machine settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure) to keep production running smoothly
Troubleshooting machines and performing basic maintenance
Checking product quality to ensure it meets customer specifications (e.g., bottle weights, dimensions)
Teaming up with co-workers to identify continuous improvement opportunities
