A minimum of 5 years of experience in statistical programming is required, along with excellent SAS programming skills. Proficiency in English communication, computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and a strong understanding of clinical research principles are essential. The role also requires quality focus, results orientation, leadership abilities, effective prioritization skills, trustworthiness, teamwork, a willingness to learn, clear explanation of complex statistical programming concepts, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and innovative thinking.
The Principal Statistical Programmer will lead and support statistical programming activities on client clinical projects, including complex ones, ensuring high-quality deliverables within agreed timelines and in compliance with SOPs. This includes specifying, programming, and validating CDISC SDTM and ADaM datasets, as well as statistical analysis results, tables, listings, and figures. Responsibilities also encompass creating and validating randomization lists, producing and reviewing CDISC documentation, identifying scope changes and risks, providing supervision and mentoring to programming team members, preparing and delivering training, identifying and implementing new techniques and tools, leading initiatives for process improvement, communicating effectively with project teams, reporting issues appropriately, and supporting quality assurance during audits.
