  • Experience integrating solutions across operating systems, developing user interfaces, conducting testing, and communicating project status

Responsibilities

  • Support the Conversational AI mobile engineering team in driving down costs to implementation, championing continuous improvement, driving innovation, and mentoring engineers on developing and enhancing enterprise-scale software applications and frameworks
  • Build SDKs to be integrated into the mobile app, enabling customers to shop via spoken language interactions with connected devices
  • Lead work of small groups of engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned projects by providing documents, direction, examples; identifying solutions and timelines; reviewing/approving solutions; implementing architectural patterns; and performing design/code reviews
  • Troubleshoot business and production issues by analyzing information, engaging support teams, formulating action plans, directing actions, interpreting results, performing root cause analysis, and documenting to prevent future issues
  • Lead discovery phase of medium to large projects, partnering with product management, design, project management, business, and UX teams; obtain approvals; drive proof-of-concept; implement prototypes to validate ideas
  • Develop innovation strategies, processes, and best practices by leading internal technical teams; partnering cross-functionally; assessing opportunities; documenting scopes; developing plans/timelines; communicating with/influencing executives; resolving technology differences
  • Lead medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional Mobile Engineering projects by collaborating on requirements; translating to mobile solutions for multiple OS; gathering info; writing/developing code for multiple devices; integrating solutions; developing UI; testing; communicating status
