Requirements

  • BS/BA in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Total of 8+ years’ IT business experience with at least 5 years in Oracle eBusiness Suite application design, configuration and support
  • At least 3 years’ experience leading and supporting Oracle Applications implementations for US-based international companies
  • Core expertise in performing Gap Analysis, process mapping, defining business requirements, solution design, implementation and configuration of Oracle eBusiness Suite R12
  • Global project experience preferred (localizations, multi-entity, multi-org, multi-currency, intercompany processes)
  • Proficiency in SQL and Oracle Applications R12 data model (Oracle Financials, Oracle Supply Chain)
  • Familiarity with Oracle eCommerce Gateway and EDI concepts
  • Expert knowledge of three to four modules within Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 (eg. AP, AR, FA, GL, OM, INV, PO)
  • Expert in business processes (eg. Financials, Order-to-Cash, Supply Chain, etc.)
  • Strong stakeholder management, cross-cultural collaboration, and leadership in matrixed environments

Responsibilities

  • Gathers user requirements, participates in root cause analysis, contributes to process re-engineering efforts, identifies possible alternatives and designs solutions that address business requirements
  • Documents business and system requirements and use case scenarios. Develops functional specifications at the technical data source level and other documentation as needed
  • Assists user and Subject Matter Expert (SME) with Training, Test Plans, Testing and User Documentation
  • Works closely with internal and external developers and/or Business Analysts (BA’s) and/or packaged software providers to ensure solution meets user needs. Adjusts the functional specification if required. Documents application setups/configurations
  • Assists user and SME with Test Plans, Testing and User Documentation. Reviews test plans for appropriateness and thoroughness. Assists user and SME with testing in-house and vendor software releases
  • Documents IT support processes/procedures. Insures completeness of documentation package. Performs functional validation. Submits request to move to production to IT Change Management Team (CMT). May provide end-user training
  • Level 1/2 - Troubleshoots moderately complex production support problems and provides or obtains their timely resolution. Escalates highly complex problems to more senior BA’s to facilitate their resolution
  • Adheres to company and user department policies on compliance, information security and confidentiality
  • Identifies, documents and presents improvements to IT processes
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding the information being processed, stored or accessed by the users on the network
