The Principal Machine Learning Engineer should possess 13+ years of professional server development experience utilizing Java, Python, and related object-oriented languages, and demonstrate expertise in building AI applications and architectures. Experience with modern AI tools, including AnyScale, LLM Orchestrators and Architectures, is required, along with familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, and infrastructure tooling like MLflow, Kubeflow, and Airflow.
This role involves optimizing GenAI technologies like transformers, embeddings, and vector databases, ensuring the reliability and scalability of production ML workloads through monitoring and performance evaluation. The Principal Engineer will proactively research and investigate emerging technologies, partner with various teams to align AI initiatives with company goals, drive architecture discussions, implement CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to internal documentation and training programs. Furthermore, they will be responsible for implementing robust CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerization, model registries, and experiment tracking, as well as contributing to engineering excellence within the India organization and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
