Candidates must have 10+ years of industry experience in Machine Learning, with an MSc or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Expertise in deep learning technologies for recommendation systems, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks, is required. Proficiency in building and deploying full-stack machine learning pipelines, including data extraction, data mining, model training, feature development, testing, and deployment, is essential. A solid understanding of statistical concepts such as hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and performance evaluation metrics for machine learning is also necessary. The ability to perform deep dives into individual components and systems, as well as understand the overall architecture of machine learning solutions, is expected.
The Principal Machine Learning Engineer will lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced recommendation systems and algorithms for a global audience. Responsibilities include conducting deep dives into algorithmic components and systems to ensure optimal performance and scalability, and building and deploying robust ML pipelines. The role involves continuously monitoring, evaluating, and optimizing deployed models to meet business goals and enhance user experiences. Collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Content teams to align on product requirements and deliver machine learning-driven solutions is also a key aspect of the position.
