NVIDIA’s Cosmos generative AI engineering team is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible across multimodal learning, video generation, synthetic data, and intelligent simulation. We are seeking experienced engineers and applied scientists to help define the next era of AI computing.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of industry experience or 3+ years of research/postdoc experience in generative AI systems.
  • Framework Proficiency: Proficiency in PyTorch, JAX, or other deep learning frameworks.
  • Model Expertise: Expertise in one or more of:
    • Diffusion models
    • Auto-regressive models
    • VAE/GAN architectures
    • Retrieval-augmented generation
    • Neural rendering
    • Multi-agent systems
  • Transformer Knowledge: Intimate familiarity with all variants of attention mechanisms.
  • Large-Scale Training: Hands-on experience with large-scale training techniques (e.g., ZeRO, DDP, FSDP, TP, CP).
  • Data Processing: Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Ray, Spark).
  • Software Engineering Skills: Production-quality software engineering skills.
  • Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Math, Physics, or a related field.
  • Experience Level: 15+ years of relevant software development experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, post-train, and optimize novel Physical AI models (e.g., diffusion video models, VLMs, VLAs) for real-world applications.
  • Contribute to highly-collaborative development on large-scale training infrastructure, high-efficiency inference pipelines, and scalable data pipelines.
  • Work with teams in research, software, and product to bring world models from idea to deployment.
  • Collaborate on open-source and internal projects, author technical papers or patents, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Prototype rapidly and iterate on experiments in areas such as text-to-image/video, RL+genAI, and foundation models.
