Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3+ years in a senior/technical leadership role (e.g., Staff Engineer, Team Lead)
  • Proven track record as a Player-Coach: both hands-on coding of core systems and successful technical mentorship of engineering teams
  • Deep, specific expertise in the relevant domain's core technology (C#, React JS, Azure, Cloud)
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver high-volume, mission-critical systems with a relentless focus on stability, measured by error rates and uptime
  • Strong adherence to First Principles thinking; proven ability to avoid premature optimization while building for long-term scalability and technical elegance
  • Efficiency-Obsessed and ROI Steward mindset, viewing internal systems as drivers of P&L efficiency

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Technical Steward of the internal enterprise platform, designing and building robust, secure, and fully auditable data integration services (APIs and ETL) between the core internal systems and the central Memory Data Hub
  • Act as the Player-Coach, personally coding the most complex system integration and automation logic, while mentoring the team on technical standards for enterprise systems
  • Partner with the Revenue Engineer to translate redesigned internal processes into scalable, codified software features (e.g., automated expense validation, payroll data sync)
  • Build technical controls that automatically enforce key regulatory and internal compliance rules within the systems, reducing manual audit risk and time
  • Solely accountable for the technical reliability and integration health of the HR, Finance, and other internal operational systems, ensuring technical failure does not cost labor time or risk compliance
  • Achieve Internal Systems Integration Health at 99.0% (percentage completion of required systems and data integrations between core enterprise systems like HRIS ↔ Finance ↔ Memory)
