Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform, across multiple modules and core platform capabilities
  • 7+ years of App development experience
  • Strong proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX development
  • Experience configuring ServiceNow Workspaces, Flows, ACLs, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Actions/Pages, Forms, Playbooks, Portals, and/or Reports
  • Experience designing, configuring, and developing integrations with the ServiceNow platform, including Scripted REST APIs
  • Advanced scripting experience utilizing best practice formatting and comments in Script Includes, Business Rules, etc
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow platform, focusing on scalability, security, and performance
  • Manage all phases of the SDLC, including analysis, design, development, data conversion, system integration, and implementation
  • Evaluate, design, and develop new features and roadmaps
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact on customer engagements of the highest complexity and value
  • Understand business context and translate business requirements into a sustainable ServiceNow implementation
  • Develop and execute technical solutions based on business requirements, utilizing best practices and industry standards
  • Analyze system processes and develop enhancements to improve user experience and general system usability
  • Function as the principal ServiceNow SME. Mentor/assist other team members where needed. Lead and mentor technical teams
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
  • Diagnose and isolate incidents through testing and work to develop workarounds and/or fixes for system related issues
  • Develop scripts on the ServiceNow platform to automate tasks and integrations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features and technologies, and implement best practices to enhance platform performance
