Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics, ideally within eCommerce or digital platforms
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, modeling, and analysis
  • Experience with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms
  • Deep understanding of time series forecasting, including ARIMA, Prophet, and other statistical models
  • Proven ability to build and deploy unsupervised learning models for customer segmentation
  • Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau or equivalent
  • Strong foundation in statistical modeling, experimentation, and lifecycle analytics
  • Ability to work independently and lead complex projects from ideation to delivery

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine customer segmentation models using unsupervised learning techniques to identify behavioral clusters and inform targeting strategies
  • Build and maintain forecasting models (e.g., ARIMA, Prophet) to predict demand and user engagement trends
  • Define and exemplify the value of customers over time (LTV) and develop strategies to improve it in acquisition and retention processes
  • Lead churn modeling initiatives to proactively identify at-risk users and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Create reusable machine learning pipelines and data artifacts that scale across the organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design experiments and interpret results, including A/B testing and cohort analyses
  • Share complex modeling outcomes and insights with both technical and non-technical collaborators
