Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field) plus 5 years of experience performing data analytics
A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration plus 3 years of experience performing data analytics
A PhD in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field)
Skills to retrieve, combine, and analyze data from a variety of sources and structures
Experience building, validating, and backtesting models; interpreting confusion matrices or ROC curves
Experience with clustering, classification, sentiment analysis, time series, and deep learning
Comfortable with open-source languages (e.g., Python) and hands-on experience developing data science solutions using open-source tools and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS)
Strong interpersonal skills to translate complex work into tangible business goals
Customer-focused mindset

Responsibilities

Build machine learning models through all phases of development, from design through training, evaluation, validation, and implementation
Leverage technologies such as Python, Conda, AWS, Spark, Kubeflow Pipelines to analyze huge volumes of numeric and textual data and reveal insights
Partner with cross-functional teams of data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver customer-loved products
Develop machine learning models for marketing, risk, and valuation to support informed marketing and underwriting decisions
Conduct thorough statistical analysis to generate insights influencing business strategies
Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and software engineers on all stages of model development
