Ability to work with other groups in support of hardware issues including electrical, mechanical, SW and FW
Experience working in a Regulatory / FDA controlled product development environment

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, development, and testing of mixed-signal electrical systems and circuits for medical devices, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory standards (e.g., IEC 60601-1, -1-2, & -2-2)
Develop detailed specifications, schematics, and PCB layouts, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to meet design and performance requirements
Ensure reliability, develop technical specifications for design and production, and test hardware conformance to specifications; may include designing new or modifying existing products
Contribute to technical project planning, establish timelines, define deliverables, and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks
Perform design verification testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and product requirements
Assist manufacturing with issues stemming from hardware quality issues
Conduct detailed analysis, simulation, and modeling to ensure performance requirements are met
Review customer complaint trends and determine if a quality problem exists
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Defining the direction for new products, processes, standards, or operational plans based on business strategy with a significant impact on work group results
Providing input to departmental planning and resource activities
Presenting project status to management and teams
Other responsibilities as assigned
