Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree, two years of professional experience in an analytical function, an understanding of the healthcare industry, be highly self-motivated and directed, demonstrate the ability to work with large sets of data, exhibit keen attention to detail, and have experience in financial modeling and profitability. Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy, are also required, along with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
The Pricing Associate will collaborate on improving Garner’s pricing models using projected and actual healthcare costs, providing account-specific pricing guidance and quotes for new clients and renewals, assisting with building and monitoring mechanisms to understand performance of the book of business, conducting analysis to identify and communicate the financial impact of pricing decisions, assisting in building processes and policies to support continually improving financial planning and pricing decisions, and maintaining pricing models while continually identifying opportunities for efficiencies.
