Responsibilities

  • Architecting solutions that achieve customer business outcomes within a specific technical domain or across the broader company portfolio (hardware, software, services, as-a-service offerings) in combination with third-party components
  • Develop and articulate compelling, accurate, and relevant proposals ensuring customer’s business and technical requirements are met
  • Provide technical expertise to sales teams and customers through sales presentations, product/solution demonstrations, etc., to gain customer mindshare
  • Develop compelling customer proposals, critically review them, manage expectations of internal stakeholders and customers
  • Quantify the impact of business problem(s), position business value, identify strengths and weaknesses of proposed solution to achieve long-term business objectives
  • Provide input to global business units to address IT trends, requirements, gaps, or unmet needs
  • Translate outcome-based solutions into functional solution design aligning to customer business needs, then into technical design and architecture scalable for growth
  • Communicate how solution value propositions address customer business needs
  • Contribute to industry development through conferences (content support/presentations, demos, booth support), industry events, and monitoring social media
  • Actively gather and apply competitive intelligence as a critical component of account support
  • Drive the Account Business Planning process leveraging knowledge of industry trends and customer’s technical environment
  • Participate in deep-dive discussions and partner with account team to build customer relationships
