Responsibilities

  • Supervise the team within prepared foods departments (e.g., café, rotisserie, prepared foods) by facilitating rotations, managing member needs, and delivering on the business plan
  • Communicate departmental goals, execute company programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and the company
  • Ensure the prepared foods area meets company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment, safety, and compliance
  • Manage production seasonality, prioritize time between areas, understand new products/recipes/processes, and collaborate with associates/third parties for resources
  • Leverage digital tools to plan/drive sales, improve shopping experience, elevate associate engagement, and make immediate business decisions
  • Drive business results through operational excellence, profitability planning, maintaining a neat/clean/safe work area, staffing levels, audits, and compliance
  • Produce and display merchandise per layout plan, engage with other departments/third-party partners (e.g., maintenance, suppliers, vendors) for operational continuity
  • Teach/train the team, identify training needs, develop skills for high-quality products, encourage career growth, and source new talent
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes/practices to meet business needs, analyze information, monitor progress, and address improvements
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with policies/procedures/ethics, implement action plans, and assist with correcting issues
  • Lead/participate in teams by sharing resources, determining needs/priorities, coordinating assignments, providing feedback/support, and modeling adaptability
