Requirements

  • Extensive experience in corporate real estate, portfolio management, or commercial leasing
  • Strong understanding of lease strategy, financial modelling, and market dynamics
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confidence in influencing senior leaders and driving strategic initiatives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and lease management platforms (e.g., MRI)
  • Degree in Property, Business, or related field (MBA desirable)

Responsibilities

  • Lead national portfolio strategy, including footprint optimisation and market positioning
  • Manage leasing activities—negotiations, renewals, exits, and acquisitions
  • Conduct portfolio analysis and scenario planning to support decision-making
  • Oversee financials including rent, outgoings, and capital expenditure
  • Commercial review of utilisation across all sites, including deployment of subleasing strategies for excess capacity
  • Present scenarios, recommendations and business cases to decision makers for review and sign off
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align property decisions with business and cultural goals
  • Build strong relationships with landlords, agents, and advisors
  • Ensure compliance with lease obligations, governance, and WHS standards
  • Lead strategic projects including workplace transformation and sustainability initiatives
  • Monitor market trends and provide insights to inform strategy
