Requirements

Candidates must be able to walk, stand, pull, climb, bend, reach, and stoop for an extended period of time, demonstrating sound judgment and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. They should possess knowledge of different cleaning products and tools, along with good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule or overtime, including shift rotation. Furthermore, candidates must be able to safely work around machinery, lift frequently 20-45 lbs., and demonstrate a proven ability to be a team player in a team-based environment, while also exhibiting focus on customer service and competence in emergencies.

Responsibilities

The Porter will be responsible for cleaning and washing totes according to company standards and procedures, ensuring they are free from debris and contaminants, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. They will also report any damaged or unusable totes to the supervisor, follow all safety guidelines and protocols, and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
