Requirements
- Experience developing embedded software using C or C++
- General knowledge of operating systems
- Management experience within a development team
- 5+ years of experience in embedded development (desired)
- 3+ years of management experience within a development team (including international teams) (desired)
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams (desired)
- Native or near-native Japanese proficiency (required - equivalent to JLPT N1)
- Ability to communicate in English (email, phone conferences, international travel); comfortable with reading and writing English (fluency not required)
- Experience working with international teams and willingness to engage in cross-cultural communication
Responsibilities
- Manage a team developing and maintaining C/C++ standard libraries
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the PlayStation kernel, drivers, development environments, and SDKs
- Collaborate with system software developers and international teams
- Perform requirements gathering, design, coding, and bug analysis
- Work with overseas teams to advance development
