Requirements

Proficient in Python with demonstrable experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable & highly available services
Deep understanding of performance, multi-threading, data modeling, and distributed systems
Intimate knowledge of distributed microservice architecture
Knowledge and experience in Kubernetes and containerization
Experience writing robust, resilient applications that scale and respond to changing conditions in cloud-based, containerized environments, with ability to explain past challenges and solutions
Experience designing and implementing complex backend services in a highly-scalable fashion
Ability to think architecturally, considering how individual services interact on a larger scale
Excellent communication skills to interface with teams, individuals, and potentially external partners, translating business needs into technology solutions
