Requirements

2 to 3 years of experience as a production planner in the maquiladora industry
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Advanced English
Technical competencies: ERP/MRP (intermediate), Inventory management, Capacity calculation, New product introduction, Lean management, Bills of materials, KPIs (advanced), Data integrity (advanced), Financial results, Risk management, S&OP, WI, WG (updates changes)
Human competencies: Drive for results, Problem-solving

Responsibilities

Analyzes and approves the monthly Sales and Operations Plan (S&OP) exercise
Prepares and coordinates the production plan, ensuring on-time delivery of distribution orders
Simulates material availability
Participates in and/or coordinates the introduction and end-of-life of products/materials/services
Meets the work-in-process (WIP) inventory level target
Analyzes and verifies the integrity of manufacturing data in the system (IFS)
Supports Lean initiatives
Collaborates in teamwork with the assigned cell
Meets the metrics established in their Scorecard by following tasks in their Standard Work Sheet
Follows up on urgent materials with Purchasing to ensure timely arrival of materials for S&OP compliance
Provides support in activities necessary for material flow
Maintains files and records of official documents in compliance with company procedures
Responsible for escalating to different departments any situation affecting the achievement of organizational goals
