Requirements

Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in writing Nuke pipeline code using Python, along with strong written and verbal communication skills. They should demonstrate talent for designing intuitive, artist-friendly workflows, possess a solid understanding of object-oriented programming patterns, be comfortable with Git and unit testing, and have a desire to probe and understand complex systems. Basic DCC familiarity with Houdini, Maya, and experience programming in C++ using Nuke’s NDK are preferred, as is an understanding of Color Science.

Responsibilities

The Pipeline Developer will develop and maintain efficient and creative workflows and tools for composting artists, troubleshoot artist tool issues and develop effective solutions in collaboration with the pipeline team, work daily with the pipeline management team and team lead to identify and implement new features, attend daily scrum meetings, write technical briefs and user documentation, identify early areas of improvements and escalate issues as needed, and contribute to the overall pipeline development and support efforts.
