Requirements

Strong proficiency in Stibo STEP PIM/MDM: configuration, workflows, business rules, and data models
Java backend development experience (Core Java, Java EE, or similar frameworks)
Experience with web services (REST/SOAP) and API integrations
Strong data skills: SQL, database design, managing large product catalogs, import/export processes
Familiarity with scripting (JavaScript, XML, JSON, CSV) for data transformations and business rules
Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence)

Responsibilities

Configure, customize, and extend the Stibo STEP platform: define entities, attributes, business rules, workflows, and data models
Develop Java backend components and integration logic to connect STEP with external systems such as ERP, eCommerce platforms, and CRMs
Implement data import/export processes and manage data transformations (XML, JSON, CSV)
Design, develop, and maintain REST or SOAP APIs for integrations
Troubleshoot performance, data quality, and security issues
Participate in Agile development: sprint planning, code reviews, documentation, and delivery
Support production/stage environments, including deployments, monitoring, and alerting
Maintain version control using Git and ensure adherence to coding, testing, and deployment best practices
Liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate into technical designs, and deliver solutions on time
