Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Stibo STEP PIM/MDM: configuration, workflows, business rules, and data models
  • Java backend development experience (Core Java, Java EE, or similar frameworks)
  • Experience with web services (REST/SOAP) and API integrations
  • Strong data skills: SQL, database design, managing large product catalogs, import/export processes
  • Familiarity with scripting (JavaScript, XML, JSON, CSV) for data transformations and business rules
  • Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
  • Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence)

Responsibilities

  • Configure, customize, and extend the Stibo STEP platform: define entities, attributes, business rules, workflows, and data models
  • Develop Java backend components and integration logic to connect STEP with external systems such as ERP, eCommerce platforms, and CRMs
  • Implement data import/export processes and manage data transformations (XML, JSON, CSV)
  • Design, develop, and maintain REST or SOAP APIs for integrations
  • Troubleshoot performance, data quality, and security issues
  • Participate in Agile development: sprint planning, code reviews, documentation, and delivery
  • Support production/stage environments, including deployments, monitoring, and alerting
  • Maintain version control using Git and ensure adherence to coding, testing, and deployment best practices
  • Liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate into technical designs, and deliver solutions on time
